Linda Fisher

Linda G. Fisher (68) died at home on May 26th, 2014 following a brief battle with cancer. Linda had a big heart and was very compassionate towards the elderly. She enjoyed her years of working and volunteering in the activities department of the nursing home. She enjoyed being with her friends and cherished her large extended family... loving them all the same. She was “Mom,” “Gramma,” or “Aunt Linda” to so many. She also loved going to the beach and going to casinos and bingo. She is survived by her loving partner of 30 years, Bill Fisher; three sons, Bob Bridges of Walla Walla, Billy Bridges and Jeff Bridges of Yakima; a daughter, Brenda Bridges (Loren Prater) of Selah; a brother, Bob Burke; two sisters, Elva Cooper and Verna Worthington; and many second and third generation grandbabies. Linda is preceded in death by her mother, son Johnnie Bridges, and many close aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 9th at 11 am at the Note of Joy Christian Center on 305 E “R” St. Yakima.
