Lilli Loyd

February 22, 1949 — December 7, 2018

Lilli Anne Loyd, age 69, transitioned to her heavenly home on Friday, December 7th, 2018 at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. She passed peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. Lilli Anne (Todd) Loyd was born on February 22, 1949, in Puyallup Washington, to Charles Edward Todd, and Lillian (Gustafson) Todd. She was the youngest of four children. She often shared memories of her happy childhood growing up on farms, and of fun with siblings and cousins. As a young woman, Lilli found her passion in serving Jesus Christ, and ministering His love to others. She attended King’s Temple Bible Academy where she developed many cherished, life-long friendships. On February 14, 1976, Lilli married the love of her life, Ted Loyd. She moved with him to Tieton, Washington, and joined Tieton Emmanuel Church. She served with him first as youth pastors, and then as head pastors of Tieton Emmanuel Church. In Tieton, together with Ted, she raised three children with great love and care. Lilli worked for many years with Ted and their church family. She assisted in church services, youth group, and organized many spirit-filled meetings and conferences. Her children remember those times as joyful, filled with love, faith, and family, in a close-knit community. Lilli continued her service when the church merged and became Tree of Life Christian Fellowship in Naches, Washington. She was welcoming to all, and hosted many celebrations, and after service meals. With fellow church members, she also ran a community oriented clothing bank. Lilli loved her grandchildren with all her heart. She devoted countless hours to them. She especially loved to take them out to eat, and give them special gifts. She was a constant source of love and wisdom for each one. A Celebration of Life for Lilli Loyd will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018, at 11:00 am, at Highland Community Church 16000 Summitview Rd Cowiche WA, 98923.
