Lila Ike Loggins was born on February 7, 1941, in Winlock, Washington. Her
parents were Howard and Sally (Purcell) Ike. She was raised and educated in Toledo,
Washington, and was a member of the Yakama Nation Tribe. She dedicated her life to
her family as a wife and mother. She cherished family gatherings, cooking, participating
in stick game tournaments, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren, but most
importantly, she loved her time at the casino.
She is survived by her children Georgie Ike, John Ike, OJ Loggins (White Swan,
WA), Howard Ike (Spokane, WA), and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Otis Loggins, her
parents: Howard Ike and Sally (Purcell) Ike, her son: Leonard Ike, her brothers: Duane
Ike Sr., Matthew Ike Sr., and Ted Satanus, and her sisters: Alice Ike, Charlotte Wahpat,
and Helen Ike Smartlowit.
A service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 1 PM at Valley Hills Funeral
Home in Wapato, Washington. Following preparation, Lila will be taken to the White
Swan Community Center for an evening service, including dinner at 5 PM and a service
at 7 PM. The service will continue on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, with a 7 AM
procession to the Ike-Kinswa Family Cemetery in Ethel, Washington.
