Lianna Salazar,19, along with her cousin, Andrés Morfin, 20, died in a tragic car accident on
Sunday, February 27, 2022 in Richland, Washington.
Lianna was born on May 14, 2002, in Posser, Washington. Lianna attended Sunnyside schools
until the 6th grade. She also attended and graduated from the Tri-Cities Kamiakin high school.
Lianna touched so many hearts and was loved by many in the community. She was a teenager
full of life exploring her potential and her possibilities. She enjoyed listening to Bad Bunny
music and taking her cousins out to Dutch Bros Coffee. She loved the job she held at
Wheelers Gas Station in Mabton, Washington.
She is survived by her parents, Juan and Angelica Ramirez and Guillermo Salazar; two sisters,
Brianna and Savanna who she dearly loved; grandparents, Ramiro and Diana Morfin, Manuel
and Vivianna Ramirez, Leo Salazar and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Her viewing and Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 6th, from 4-8pm.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 7th at 11:00 am at Valley Hills Funeral Home,
Sunnyside, Washington.
