Les Lundberg was born August 29, 1925 in Yakima, WA to Lester and Esther Lundberg. He grew up in the small town of Parker with is sister Marjorie and brother Aubrey. Les attended Wapato Highschool. After graduating at the young age of 17 he went into the Coast Guard for the next 3 years of his life.
In the early 1960’s Les met the love of his life and soulmate, Marlene Lundberg. They took on many business adventures starting with Toledo Scales and a fruit stand that they developed and worked at for 10+ years. After selling Les became a fieldsman for different warehouses around the Yakima Valley.
In the late 1990’s after selling their home that Les built in Gleed, Les and Marlene invested in 20 acres in the Wenas area where they built their next home and developed Stage Coach RV Park. They spent the upcoming years working and making many new friends and lots of memories at the Park.
There were many more things Les had accomplished over the years, however his proudest accomplishment was his family. His Children Mike and Tuesday along with his very special niece whom Les always considered more to be his second daughter Cindy Fisher will always be special to him. Along with his grandchildren who he loved taking to the beach, camping and many other memorable places. Les would always say “ Well we are not going unless we take Heather and Robbie”. Making memories with them meant the world to him.
Les is survived by his wife Marlene Lundberg; 2 children Mike (Debbie) Lundberg and Tuesday (Roy) McCoy. 3 grandchildren; Heather (Lance) Stafford, Robert (Kim) Smith and Mikeal (Jamie)
Allenbaugh and 6 great-grandchildren; Alexis and Junior Hernandez, Brody Stafford and Lahney, Kohlby and Mihley Doyle.
