Leanne Mcdougal

LeAnne Michelle McDougal was born on March 6th 1967, in Fairbanks, Alaska to Michael and Jerri McDougal. She had many challenges in her life but spent most of her days happy and smiling. LeAnne came to live at Yakima Valley School at a very early age and lived there contentedly until the time of her death, March 11, 2018. LeAnne delighted in listening to music, strolls outside in the sunshine, and group activities. LeAnne will be remembered, for her bright smile and sweet personality. She was a joy to all that cared for her and will be greatly missed by her friends and caregivers. LeAnne was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Survivors include aunt Debra Tindall of Yakima, aunt Connie Manning, cousin Jarod Manning both of Helena, Montana and uncle Paul McDougal and family of Yakima, as well as many great aunts, uncles and cousins of Yakima. LeAnne’s family would like to thank Yakima Valley School caregivers and friends for the love, care and support they showed LeAnne over her lifetime. They will forever be grateful that LeAnne was able to be a part of such a wonderful community. In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to the Friends of Yakima Valley School, 5910 W. Lincoln Ave. #39, Yakima, Wa. 98908. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Deccio room at Yakima Valley School on March 23rd, 2018 at 2 pm.
