Layssa Salas

Layssa Hazel Cienfuegos Salas, our little angel, left us suddenly on April 6, 2016 at the age of 11. She was born on August 1, 2004 in Yakima, WA to Maricela Salas Valencia and Efrain Cienfuegos. Layssa was a 6th grade student at Wilson Middle School. She was a beautiful spirit surrounded by so much love from her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her big smile and happy spirit. She loved music, ballet and dancing. She always wanted to grow up to be an actress. Many will remember her mischievous spirit and the many times that she enjoyed played jokes on us. She had a wonderful heart that was full of love for life, friends and family. The family would like to thank all her friends at El Porton Mexican Restaurant. She is survived by her mother Maricela Salas and her father Efrain Cienfuegos; her siblings: Ulisses Ochoa, Brianna Ochoa, Aliah Salas, Gabriela Ochoa, Hannah Cienfuegos; her godmother Lucia Solis; grandmothers: Lourdez Cardoso, Jovita Valencia; cousins: Jose Luis Briveta (Sofia), Jennifer Birveta (Adrian), Brian Cienfuegos, Elver Cienfuegos, Xenya Emily Cienfuegos, Miguel Angel Martinez Cienfuegos, Leslie Martinez Cienfuegos; aunts and uncles: Tia Jinovera, Gabriel Valencia, Hermila Valencia, Lorena Mansera. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers: Antonio Cienfuegos and Jose Salas. Viewing will be at the family home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Resurrection Parrish Catholic Church (704 Schooley Rd., Zillah) and burial will be at the Zillah Cemetery. A reception will be at the Zillah Civic Center after the graveside committal. She is now our little Angel in Heaven and we will constantly look to the heavens until the day we all meet her again.
