Laurie A. Ahto of Harrah, WA passed on April 11, 2023. Laurie Ann was born December 31, 1962 to Ramona Ahto. She grew up and was educated in Toppenish, WA. She was a proud Toppenish Wildcat and Yakama tribal member. She enjoyed working for her tribe as an auditor for gaming commission. Laurie was a loving daughter, mother, sister and grandmother. Through her life she made many friends who became family and always had a story to share. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her cat Skittles, the Seattle Seahawks, karaoke, scary movies, and going to concerts. She is survived by her mother Ramona Ahto (Sheri), brother David Ahto, her son Blaine Wheeler (Tasha), and her daughters Stacy McKay-Lloyd (David), Alma Puyette (James), Rae A. Sanchey (Marty), Iola Sanchey (Ryle) and grandchildren Julio, Mason, Darlene, Faith, Karter Mae, Sariah, Aberdee, Trevor, Sean, Sebastian, Jael, Izlee, Nova, Azriel, Jordan, Roper, and Sawyer Preceeded in death by her father Frank Williams and her son Preston Ahto-Watlamet. Dressing services will be on Thursday April 13, 2023 at 9 AM at Valley Hills Funeral Home. Overnight services will be at the Toppenish Creek Longhouse in White Swan. Funeral services will be at sunrise on Friday April 14, 2023 at the longhouse with interment to follow at the Colwash Cemetery.
