Kenneth M. Schroeder, 61, of Yakima died Friday, March 8, 2013.
Mr. Schroeder was born in Las Cruces, N.M., and served as a Navy corpsman during the Vietnam War. He worked as an echocardiogram technician for more than 40 years. He lived in the Everett area for 27 years. He moved to Yakima six months ago.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Schroeder of Yakima; two sons, Jason Schroeder of Sweden and Palen Schroeder of El Paso, Texas; two daughters, Amy Schroeder of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Joy Schroeder of Everett; his parents, Gwen and Tommy Schroeder of Clayton, N.M.; two brothers, Philip Schroeder of Milton-Freewater, Ore., and Rick Schroeder of Clayton; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service, with military honors, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory, Yakima.
