Kenneth Hudson

Kenneth Wayne Hudson, age 90, of Yakima passed away on August 17, 2017. He was born May 31, 1927 to the late Henry and Ruth Hudson. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Hudson; sisters Jimmie Sue Darden and Ruth Ellen Johnson. Ken was born in Oklahoma and was raised in Arkansas until the family headed for Washington State when he was 14. The family settled near Naches Heights and worked in the Apple Industry. In 1958 he married, Barbara Hudson in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Together they had two daughters Darlene McLean of Yakima, and Sheri Hudson of Selah. Dad was a huge fan of motor homing and they travelled extensively, crossing the United States multiple times. A special favorite was Palm Springs, California, where they made many new friends. He took great care of his family. Warm house, good food, and nice wheels! He loved cars and made sure we all had one. Ken is survived by daughters Darlene and Sheri; granddaughter Tara Masella; son-in-law James Masella; and great granddaughter Alexa Masella. A Memorial Service will be held at Peace of Christ Church in Naches, Washington on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 11:00am.
