On February 9, 2018 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer, God called home a beautiful soul. Our Pride and Joy, Kenerie Kay Boyle (Guy) was born August 3rd, 1979 to Ken and Debra Boyle (Feil). She started school in Harrah, WA and moved to West Valley in the 3rd grade. She graduated in 1997 from West Valley High School. She entered YVCC and obtained three agricultural degrees. She then entered the Radiology Program and graduated in 2002. In September of 2006 Kenerie married Corey Guy, and in 2008 she welcomed her pride and joy Kaylee Rose Guy. She worked at Yakima Regional for 16 years as a Radiologic Technologist and taught part time at the college. Kenerie obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in 2014 and immediately began working towards her Masters in Healthcare Management. After many years of hard work she finally landed her dream job as a full time faculty member with the Radiology Program at YVCC in September 2017. Kenerie was involved with 4H and FFA for many years. She was an avid black powder competition shooter at our Mountain Man Rendezvous, being the top shooter many times. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed her time at the beach and camping with her family and friends.
Kenerie is survived by her daughter Kaylee along with her father Corey. She is also survived by her parents Ken and Deb Boyle; her sister Katrina Roof (Brandon); nephew Wyatt; nieces Jazmine and Makayla; her brother Kyle Boyle (Melina); sister from another mother Heather Irvine-Porter (Brandon); nieces Regan and Brettlyn. She is also survived by her grandmother Maggie Feil; grandfather Willard Boyle; aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends along with her dog Tank.
Kenerie is preceded in death by her grandfather Jack Feil; grandmother Theresa Boyle; uncle Mark Feil; her horses Cami and Oreo; and her dog Bear.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, February 17, 2018 at West Valley Freshman Campus 12:00. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations to a college fund to benefit her daughter Kaylee. Pot luck dinner immediately following. We welcome you to bring one of your favorite dishes. Her favorite color was blue so if you have something blue please wear it.
