Kathrine Dennise Todd, 71 passed away peacefully on August 16 th , 2026,

at her home. Katherine was born in Modesto CA, on November 22,1954

and moved with her family to Yakima when she was young. She married

the love of her life James on March 3 rd , 1973. Together they raised three

children, Jesse, Lisa and James Todd.

Kathy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a caregiver

for her husband until his passing in 2014. She loved kids and was a

Sunday school teacher at the Full gospel church for many years. Her

grandchildren were her biggest blessings.

She is survived by her children, Jesse (Denise) Todd, Lisa Todd (Andrew),

James Todd (Alicia) and her seventeen grandchildren, Shannon, Deven,

Anthony, Josselynn, Jetta, Angel, Hanna, Emma, Lily, James Christopher,

Landyn, Paul, Logan, Adalynn, Zane, Allison and Mileena Todd and one

great grandchild Nuka all of Yakima. She is also survived by her brothers

Richard and Gregg Young, her sisters Phyllis Paxton and Carrie Kelley

(Dave). and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death

by her husband James Todd and her parents, Phillip and Edna Young, her

two brothers, Dennis and William Young.

Viewing will be at Valley Hills Funeral home on, Friday, August 28, 2026,

from 1-6 pm, 2026. Memorial services will be on Saturday, August 29 th ,

2026, at 9:30 am at Full Gospel Church, 1602 Englewood Avenue.

Interment will be at West Hill Memorial Park following the services. Family

and friends may return to the Church for potluck after interment services

are concluded. Valley Hills Funeral Home in Yakima is in care of the
