Katherine Strong

November 11, 1964 — May 3, 2018

Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece and granddaughter. Katherine was born November 11, 1964 to her parents Simon Strong Jr. and Lorna Jean Arquette Strong. She lived and was raised in Wapato, WA and was an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation. Katherine is survived by her uncle Randy (Yvonne) Arquette her sisters, Sandra Lee Jim – (Eric) Umtuch, Tamara Jean Arquette – (Chandler) Price, Rebecca E. Sohappy, Lisa Kahama, and her brothers, Jamie Kahama, and William Willie Kahama. Katherine helped raise her nieces and nephews Willie Iukes, Davina R. Jim, Dillon Hooper, Victoria Whitney, Kaylee Whitney, Toniquelee McConville and Chandler Price Jr., Chase Price and various other cousins; Bill family, Sohappy family, Arquettes, and Zacks families. Throughout her life she participated in various sports including basketball – Wolverines, Seven Feathers, softball – Northwest Wolverines, Yellow Jackets, and pool for Pan Cigar and Hideaway (Hideout), traveled throughout the Northwest and made friends wherever she went. She was an avid Seahawks fan, Mariner fan, and Seattle Sonics fan. She had a very good sense of humor and loved everyone. There will be a dressing Saturday, May 5, 2018, 1:00 PM at the Wapato Longhouse in Wapato, WA with overnight services Saturday, May 5, 2018 and Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 7:00 PM. Will be leaving Wapato Longhouse Monday, May 7, 2018 at 6 AM for burial at the 1910 Shaker Church in White Swan, WA.
