Julia M. Thompson

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Julia Mirann Thompson announces her passing on April 8, 2026.

A member of the Yakama Nation, Julia was born to Maranda Thompson and Quentine Sampson on May 18, 1996 in Yakima, Washington.

Julia ~ named after her great-great grandmother Julia Charley, was the definition of a free spirit. In her younger years she enjoyed hanging out with her friends and attending concerts. In 2009 Julia met Ladd Palmer and together they welcomed their daughter Savannah Mae in 2013. In 2020 and 2024 Julia welcomed two more daughters, Shyla and Kyrie, Julia was a loving mother to her three daughters and enjoyed spending weekends in the mountains with family.

Julia was a devoted Seattle Seahawks fan and had a special place in her heart for her favorite Seahawk Bobby Wagner, her other passion was the UFC fights which she watched every Saturday and the Washington State University Cougars with her mama, but football was her game.

Julia was always in contact with friends and family thru social media, always a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Julia is survived by her other half, Tristan Isadore, her mother Maranda Thompson, daughters Savannah Mae Thompson-Palmer, Shyla Queenie Aguilar, and Kyrie Lovely Aguilar, sisters Sophia Ortega, Alana Ortega, brothers Daniel Berlanga Jr. (Malia Maltos), and Anthony Berlanga, grandmother (2nd mom) Sabina Thompson, paternal grandmother Endrene Gayle Saluskin and Harriet Sampson Young, aunties Toni Marie Martinez (Judas Tillequots), Tianna Hunt (Ezekial Morales), Tawnee Hunt, uncles Joseph Gonzales (Rochelle Marek), Darrell Thompson, Kendall Thompson, Davis Thompson, Byron Bocanegra (Salinas), Anthony Jake (Sheri Tithin), Felix Martinez Jr. (Joyce), Tyrone Thompson, younger girls father Jermaine Aguilar and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Julia was preceded in death by her father Quentine Sampson, paternal grandfather Gene Ira Sampson, maternal grandfather Federico (Tony) Martinez, maternal great grandparents Kenneth & Evaline (Ike) Thompson, uncle Kevin (Cesar) Thompson, cousin Donny Thompson, brother-in-law Amos Palmer, and bestie Destiny Lloyd.
