Julia Contreras

Our Mom "Ama" Julia Villa Contreras passed away unexpectedly on April 15, 2016 from a brain aneurysm while on vacation in North Carolina. She was born on November 29, 1952 in Tecoman, MX to Alfonso & Andrea Contreras. She met the love of her life and soulmate Valentin Villa Sr. as kids when they were neighbors. They were blessed with 8 children: Lorena(Sergio) Fernandez, Bertha(Rene) Maldonado, Rosaura(Tito) Reynaga, Dalila(Mikey) Palencia, Sandra(Brandon) Cortes, Valentin Jr.(Amanda) Villa, Yasmin(Tom) Lorenson & Yesenia(Eli) Perez. Her pride & joy were her grandkids Isabella, Abram, Alex, Marco, Andres, Natalie, Kam, Ahtziri & Everett, who will miss her terribly. Our Mom was our rock, she kept us grounded, she and our Dad taught us to be respectful, hard working, law abiding citizens, we will never forget everything they taught and will always work hard to make them proud. Our Dad passed away 4 years ago and they are now together again rejoicing in Gods midst.Funeral services will be Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 4:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Yakima, WA. Reception following service will be held at Aguililla Banquet Hall, 28 S. 2nd Ave, Yakima, WA.
