Judith A. Donahoo Nagle
Judith (Judy) Ann Donahoo Nagle pass from this life on January 29, 2015 in Sunnyside Washington. Judy was born October 7, 1944 in McMinniville Oregon to Ralph and Emma Donahoo. The family later moved to Washington and made their home in Grandview. Judy attend school in Grandview, graduating from Grandview High School in 1963. She went on to attend Central Washington University in Ellensburg, graduating with a BA in Home Economics and Education.
On June 27, 1968, she married Michael Nagle and made their home in Grandview. Judy worked for the Grandview School District as a substitute teacher until leaving the working force to care for her young family. In 1992, Judy returned to Grandview School District where she stayed until her retirement in 2011.
Judy found great joy in her grandchildren, always eager to attend sporting events and be an active part in their lives. She was also an active member in the Altar Society and St. Vincent DePaul Society at Blessed Sacrament Church and a proud supporter of Grandview Orthopedics Auxiliary and Children’s Hospital in Seattle. Judy was also an avid reader, enjoyed sewing and was an accomplished baker.
She is survived by daughter-in-law Karen Nagle of Kennewick, WA, son Thomas Nagle and Christina Vongchanta-Nagle of Mesa, AZ, and daughter Jennifer Nagle-Santjer and Jacob Santjer of Marysville, WA. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Kylie Nagle, Taylor Nagle, Cody Nagle, Tucker Santjer and Elliot Santjer. Judy is preceded in death by her husband Michael, son Timothy Nagle, and granddaughter Breanna, her sister Geraldine Donahoo McClauehery and her parents.
Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside has been charged with arrangements. Viewing and visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm Monday February 2,2015 at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Recital of the Holy will be held at 7:00 pm at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview Monday, February 2, 2015. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday February 3, 2015 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview. A reception will be held after mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Churh. The immediate family will have a private burial at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Children’s Hospital Seattle or the National Parkinson’s Foundation in Judy’s honor.
