Juan Guerrero, 77, of Yakima passed away on February 19, 2013 in Yakima, WA. Juan was born in Edna, Texas on May 23, 1935 to Norberto Guerrero and Angelita Ybabez. He was a former employee of the Granger School District in Granger for about 20 years. Recently, he was retired and enjoying life with his family. He was always a very dedicated hard worker. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a very outgoing person and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed the outdoors and dancing. He liked Norteno music and whenever he had the chance he would be out dancing away with his wife, Susy. Juan is survived by his wife, Maria Guerrero (Susy); sons, Juan Guerrero Jr. and Norberto Guerrero; daughters, Maria Guadalupe Leal (Lupe), Angelita Guerrero (Angie), and Cecilia Fransen; and 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Now he is finally resting in peace with his mother, Angelita and his son, Dino Guerrero. Visitation will be from 12-6 on Friday February 22 with the Recitation of the Rosary at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah and Mass of Christian Burial will be at the Granger Catholic Church on Saturday, February 23, at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow at the Zillah Cemetery. Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah is in care of the arrangements.
