Juan Esteban-Garcia

August 16, 1981 — September 25, 2014

Juan Esteban Garcia, 33, of Yakima, died on September 25, 2014, as the result of a tragic farming accident. He was born in Huitzuco, Mexico to Pedro and Natividad Garcia on August 16, 1981. He attended school in Mexico and immigrated to the United States in 2002. He followed the agricultural seasons and worked as a laborer in the farming industry. He met Patricia Murillo in 2006, in Sanger, California and they were married on November 5, 2008. Juan was always funny and loved to make people smile. He had a passion for helping others, especially the elderly. He enjoyed entertaining and BBQ. He had a strong work ethic and was very motivated. He couldn’t sit still. If he had no work, he went out to find work. He loved the beach, the snow, and he loved to dance. He was crazy about his boys, Juan Garcia Jr., Tristan Garcia, and Joshua Garcia. Juan worked for Black Star Ranch, and thought very highly of his employer and loved every minute of his job. He is survived by his wife, his three sons, his father (and step mother, Rocia Garcia), and his brother, Jose Garcia, and sister, Ruby Garcia. He is preceded in death by his mother, and his sister, Araceli Garcia. A memorial service is planned for Tuesday, September 30th at 12:30PM at Valley Hills Funeral Home, Yakima, WA.
