Josefina “Josie” Hart March 15, 1952 – October 17, 2014 Josie Hart 62 of Sunnyside passed away on October 17, 2014 with family by her side. She was born March 15, 1952 in Mitchell Nebraska to Jose and Guadalupe Pina. Josie grew up in a large family and was one of nine girls and 11 boys. She loved sewing, cooking, baking, spending time with friends and family. Offering advice, laughter, and joy. She also was a member of the Sunnyside Eagles, having served as past madam president. Josie attended Sunnyside High School and worked for over 20 years at Yakima Bait Company in Granger. Josie is survived by her husband; Daniel J. Hart, Sons; Aaron Flores and Andres (Melissa Lopez) Flores. Daughters; Vivianna Flores, and Virginia Flores. Step daughters; Rebecca (Nicolas) Sustaita and Sarah Hart. Brothers; Urbie (Bea) Pina, Charlie (Kathy) Pina, Marvin (Ana) Pina, Rudy (Margaret) Pina, Joe (Ramona Pina Jr., and Jesse (Romana) Arriaga. Sisters; Beatriz Pina, Mary Pina, and (Phillip) Vargas. There are also numerous nieces and nephews. Grandchildren; Alex Flores, Anissia Flores, Abigail Padilla, Adam Padilla, Alexus Padilla, Adrian Flores, Adriana Flores, Aries Gennings, Alegra Flores, Nia Flores, and Esaias Flores. The Sunnyside Eagles will be hosting a benefit Chili Feed in honor of Josie, Friday, October 31st starting at 5:30 pm. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Eagles in Sunnyside. Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside is in care of all arrangements.
