Joshua Owens

He might have left our sights but never our hearts and memories. He was tragically taken from us August 13, 2018. Josh enjoyed spending his quality time with family members, which included fishing, hunting, going to the Longhouse, camping, sports, swimming, laughing & teasing family. He was going to attend Toppenish High School as a freshman this fall. He was legally adopted and raised by Bernice Owens and the late Johnny Martinez. He is survived by his Mom Bernice Owens, Victoria Zack; his Dad/hunting partner, Arnold Eyle; his brothers, Wilde (Simone) Owens, Johnny (Samantha) Jack, Donald Zack, John Zack, Leroy Owens, Cameron Owens, and Vernon “Hawk” Owens Jr.; Jason & Emily Buck; sisters, Lydia (Toma) Moses, Saraine Owens, Zendejas, Nanya Owens, Sina Owens, and Maelene Owens; and his special friend Niza Wesley of Toppenish, WA; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and Grandmas and Grandpas. He is preceded in death by his Dad, Vernon Owens Sr.; his Grandma, Lena Sohappy-Owens; Ole Owens, Nichale Soto, Waylon Owens and Johnny Martinez. Josh will be taken to Valley Hills Funeral Home in Wapato, WA for dressing on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., then taken to the Wapato Longhouse for overnight services.
