With profound sadness and loving remembrance, we announce the passing of Joseph Louis Gonzales, who entered eternal rest on June 19, 2026, at the age of 69.
Joe was born on June 5, 1957, to Guadalupe Gonzales and Sally Gonzales. He was raised alongside his brothers and sisters and attended Ontario High School. As a young man, Joe enjoyed skiing and cherished the memories of working in the fields with his mom, dad, and family. After graduating from high school, he proudly entered the United States Army, serving his country from 1976 to 1979. His military service reflected the dedication, strength, and work ethic that he carried throughout his life.
For 30 years, Joe shared a loving and devoted partnership with Debra Kay Azure Rabanal. Together they built a life rooted in love, family, and unwavering support.
Joe's greatest joy was his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, partner, and friend whose kindness, quiet strength, and sense of humor touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter, Atwaii (Allena Owens), whose memory remained close to his heart. Though she left this world too soon, she was deeply loved and will always be remembered by her family.

Joe leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to family. Those who knew him will remember his generous heart, his strength, and the many memories shared through the years. He found joy in simple things, especially spending time with family, remembering his younger days skiing, and the years spent working alongside his parents and siblings in the fields.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah, Washington.
Though he has departed from this earthly life, the love he shared and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
