Joseph Dorais

In loving memory of our beloved father and grandfather, Joseph Glenn Dorais. Joe passed away peacefully in his home with his family Sunday evening due to a brief battle with lung cancer. Joe had a full and wonderful life. He was born May 17, 1939 in Moxee to Joseph and Marie Dorais and was married to Yvonne in August of 1959. Together they farmed, first raising hops and then starting a dairy which was his true calling. He also enjoyed annual hunting trips with his family. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Yvonne, and their four children: David (Dana) Dorais, Kathy (Mike) Kisner, Karen (Mike) Lane, and Dan (Julie) Dorais; four grandchildren: Lisa Kisner, Michael Kisner, Robert (Kristin) Dorais, and Kyle Dorais; and three great grandchildren: Hunter, Katie Jo, and Austin. He is also survived by three brothers: Emery, Emil and Ed Dorais, and his sister Theresa Schmierer. There will be a viewing at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Terrace Heights on Friday, 12/27, from 1-5 pm. The funeral will be Monday, 12/30, at Valley Hills Funeral Home at 10 am.
