Joseph H. (Jojo) Bautizta, age 56 of Yakima, WA died May 11, 2021 at Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 12, 1964 and was a twin with his sister Christina, they were born to Joseph and Bautizta Sr. and Mary Saldana Pierson.
Jojo was a graduate of AC Davis Class of 1983. He married Jeanette Baker on September 15, 2001. Jojo was a working man. Throughout his life he worked for Perfect Powers, Northwest Aluminum, Best Built, and Jeldwen Windows as deadman in specialty windows. Joe played for the Yakima Beetles Ball Club. Joe loved sports of all kinds. He enjoyed playing darts, pool, and card games always challenging his nieces and nephews to a game of Monopoly.
Joe loved to work hard and play hard. He loved people and respected everyone especially his elders. He didn’t always show his emotions but he cared and loved for all of his family, despite the often teasing of his nieces and nephews. He especially loved talking sports and life with his step father Chuck.
Joe always helped people, even if he didn’t know them. “ There comes a time when you do the right thing for the right person”
The pain is gone and he is with family and friends. Rest in peace and know you will be missed.
He is survived by his wife Jeanette of 20 years, his step daughters; Meanette & Brittany of Yakima, son, Aaron Guthrie Bautizta of Cedar Park, TX., his twin sister, Christina (Steve) Marrow of Yakima, his mother, Mary (Chuck) Pierson of Yakima, aunt, Connie Courcy of Yakima, nephew, Jordan (Amy) Scott, and Jarred (Brandi) Scott both of Yakima, his niece, Chantel (Aaron) Johnson of Wenatchee, WA., his half brother and sister Shane and Melanie of Wapato, WA., his four grandchildren, Hadleigh,
Khyllian, Rhydleigh and Lillian.
and numerous extended family and cousins.
He is preceded ind death by his father Joseph Bautizta Sr., his grandmother Saldana Rice, grandparents, Nana and Polo Tovar, his uncles Andy Saldana and Jim Courcy.
