Jose G. Sanchez, 64, of Sunnyside died on Monday, July 1, 2013, in Sunnyside. He is survived by five sons, Raul Sanchez and Armando Sanchez, both of Grandview, Lionel Sanchez of Granger, Eddie Sanchez of Yakima and Sergio Sanchez of Sunnyside; two daughters, Gracie Sanchez and Elsa Sanchez, both of Sunnyside; one brother, Jose Manuel Sanchez of Granger; and four sisters, Maria Sanchez of Prosser, Petra Tovar of Mabton, Margarita Del Viento of Sunnyside and Maria Guadalupe Sanchez of Mexico. Viewing and visitation will be held Friday, July 5, 2013, from 1 to 10 p.m., with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside (formerly the Sunnyside Christian Reformed Church, 531 16th Street). Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013, at 9 a.m. at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Sunnyside, with graveside services to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.
