Joe Hernandez

Joe Hernandez, beloved father, husband, family member and homie went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on August 13, 2022 in Yakima, WA. Joe was born on June 30, 1976 in Yakima, WA., however, Joe spent most of his life in Wapato, WA. Joe was always dedicated to his family. He enjoyed being around family, spending time around the barbecue, listening to music and cruising around the town. Joes’s light in his life was his children and his wife. They gave him purpose and there wasn’t anything he would not do for them. Joe is lovingly survived by his wife, Erica, his two children; Joe Hernandez Jr. and Devina Marie Hernandez, his mother, Maria Olguin, his siblings; Connie Valencia and Jaime Olguin He is preceded in death by his grandmother Connie Vasquez Hernandez and his brother Pedro Valencia. A Rosary Vigil has been scheduled for Monday 8/22/2022 at Valley Hills Funeral Home Wapato Chapel from 12-7pm. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Tuesday 8/23/2022 at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Wapato at 10:00am. Joe’s final resting place is Reservation Community Memorial Park.
