Jo Guerard

Jo Marie Guerard (71) Jo Guerard was born on Aug 30, 1942 to Gus and Neola Welle in Lewiston, Idaho. They moved to the Yakima area when she was 12. She went to the St Joseph Academy and later went to nursing school in Tacoma to graduate as an LPN. She married her husband Keni in Sepember of 1964 and they had two children. She worked at the St Elizabeth Hospital and the Ahtanum View Home and retired from the Summitview Manor Nursing Home after 25 years. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and jeeping. She also loved to cook, and crochet and loved her cats and dogs. Jo is preceeded in death by her parents; her loving husband Keni of 42 years; an infant child; a brother John Welle. She is survived by a son and daughter both of Naches, Curt (Liz) Guerard and Brenda (Mark) Vick; sister Arlene Welle-Link of Yakima; four grandchildren all from Yakima, Blayne (Morgan) Vick, Marissa Vick, Amanda Bronson, Cody Guerard and two great grandchildren, Rylee and Sawyer Vick. A graveside service will be held by the family on Friday at 2pm at the Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
