Jimmie Richard Reynolds, Age 64, known to his friends and family as “JimBob or Jim,” died peacefully at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital on February 1, 2014, after a long illness. At Jimmy’s request, he will be cremated with a memorial service as provided by his loved ones and friends. Memorial Services will be held later as announced by friends and love ones. Jimmy was born to Johnnie Ross Reynolds and Norma Jean Smith on May 4, 1949, in Enid, OK. Jimmy graduated from High School at Enid, OK in 1967. Jimmy served Honorably in the Navy during the Vietnam War as a Gunner’s Mate in the South China Sea. Jimmy returned to Enid, OK and later moved to Seattle, WA where he worked as a Computer IT for a major life insurance company. Jimmy retired in Naches, WA. Jimmie is survived by his soul mate, Julie Robinson; his daughters, Sarah and Shawn and grandchildren, Sophia and Ashley; his brother, Johnnie; step-sisters, Sharon, Judy, Pam and Carolynn; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews, who loved him very much. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Ross Reynolds; mother; Norma Jean Smith; and brothers, Wally and Dewayne. The family would like to give special thanks to Julie and to all who cared for him at Yakima Memorial Hospital. Jimmie will be missed by all who knew him.
