Jesus Reyna Olivera, 72 of Mabton, WA passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 8am in Richland, WA surrounded by his loving family and friends. He is now with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus was born on April 1, 1943 in Rancho El Terrero, Michoacan, MEXICO. Son of Eliseo Reyna and Encarnacion Olivera. He married Maria Reyna Cervantes in Michoacan, Mexico. In 1980, he moved his family to Washington State. He is preceded in death by his father Eliseo Reyna, his brother Salvador Reyna, and his sister Maria Reyna. He is survived by his wife, Maria Reyna Cervantes, his children; Martha Valdez, Alicia Meza, Socorro Meza, Jose Luis Reyna, Miguel Reyna, Gloria Reyna Gill, Maricela Reyna, Maria Munguia, and Javier Reyna. His mother, Encarnacion Olivera, his brothers and sisters; Rafael Reyna, Luisa Reyna, Margarita Reyna, Salvador Reyna, Jose Reyna, Teodoro Reyna, and Consuelo Reyna. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Jesus was a hard working man, working in the fields to provide for his family. Jesus loved his vegetable and flower garden. He loved flowers! He loved spending time with his family and friends. He always enjoyed a delicious meal, he loved beef and seafood dishes, and meals that included his home grown vegetables. He loved music! Jesus always had music playing on his front porch. One of his biggest passions in life was to be a blessing by giving to others in need. Jesus was his happiest when he was surrounded by his family and friends. One of Jesus’s final wishes was that he be surrounded by as many family members and friends as possible. Viewing and visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015, from 4 to 8 p.m., then again, Viewing and visitation will be Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside followed by graveside services at Mabton Cemetery in Mabton.
