Jesus “Jesse” Ricardo Garcia, age 68 of Sunnyside, WA, passed away on Saturday May 30, 2026 at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, WA. Jesse was born on October 2, 1957 in Prosser, WA, to Raul F. & Juanita H. Garcia. He received his education in Sunnyside, WA and graduated with the class of 1977. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sunnyside, WA.

Jesse enjoyed playing sports basketball and of course his favorite softball. Jesse was such a loving, caring man. He enjoyed painting,, spending time with his family, playing softball with his brothers and primos. He enjoyed watching the Seattle Marines and was fan of the Seattle Seahawks.

Jesse worked in the lower Yakima valley as a painter up until he got sick. Jesse was taken from all of us too soon due to underlying medical issues. Jesse was bedridden and in a rehabilitation center in Seattle since 2015.

Jesse is survived by his children, Son, Eric Garcia of Tri-Cites, WA, Daughters Vanessa Garcia of Tacoma, WA, Christy Bottineau of Othello, WA. Numerous Grandchildren. Brothers, Raul F. (Dianne) Garcia of Sunnyside, WA, Rogelio Garcia of Tri-Cites, WA, Mario (Elvira) Garcia of Sunnyside, WA, Ray (Caroline) Garcia of Renton, WA, Sister’s Diana “Diane” (Juan) Uribe of Sunnyside, WA, Norma “Linda” (Rick) Banda of Pasco, WA, Brothers, Jose “Joe” A. Garcia (Trini) of Sunnyside, WA, Martin (Kim) Garcia of West Virginia, Numerous nieces & nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts & friends. 

Jesse is preceded in death by his parents, Raul F & Juanita H Garcia, Brother, Mike A. Garcia, Nephew, Bobby Ray Garcia. Niece Gabriela C. Garcia, Great Niece, Gabriella Cantu and Niece, Sarah Elizabeth Garcia. 

Jesse will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of us all. The Garcia family is grateful for the support, prayers, and kindness shown during this difficult time.
