Jesus Alvarez

Jesus Alvarez 72 of Grandview passed away February 4, 2015 in Yakima Washington with his family by his side. He was born January 25, 1943 to Daniel and Antonia Madrigal Alvarez in Michoacan, Mexico. On November 23, 1974 he married Blanca Juarez and started a family. Jesus worked for Marley Orchards for 20 years and then he retired. Jesus loved outdoor activities, gardening, family gatherings, and spending time with his grandchildren. Jesus is survived by his wife, Blanca Alvarez, Son; Adrian J. (Irene) Alvarez of Marysville WA, Daughter; Abigail A. Alvarez (Javier Jalifi) of Arlington WA., Grandkids; Michelle Alvarez, Fabian Alvarez, Jason B. Jalifi, and Nehemiah J. Jalifi, Sister; Angelita Alvarez (Aurelio) Virrueta’ Brothers: Trinida (Lucia) Alvarez, Jose (Lola) Alvarez, Daniel (Rosirio) Alvarez, Antonio (Carolina) Alvarez, Gregorio (Velia) Alvarez, Manuel (Carolina) Alvarez, David (Antonia) Alvarez, and Ismael (Angie) Alvarez. Viewing and visitation will be held 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm Wednesday February 11 2015 at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Services will be held 10:00 am Thursday February 12, 2015 at The Apostolic Church on Lincoln Ave in Sunnyside, followed by graveside services at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside. A reception will be held after graveside services at the Apostolic Church in Sunnyside. Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside is in care of all arrangements.
