Jessie Cordero

Jessie Cordero, age 89, passed away in Yakima, Washington on March 31, 2018. She was born in Worland WY. on May 23, 1928 to Manuel and Marciala (Vasquez) Trujillo. Jessie married Phillip Cordero on July 11, 1952. She was employed at Del Monte in Toppenish, WA for many many years, 33 to be exact and retired as head floor supervisor on July 17 of 1993. Mom was all about family, her husband, children, Grandchildren, siblings, nieces & nephews. She thaught her children, nieces & nephews good values & loved us all always. Jessie was survived by all of her children, daughter: Carmen Althoff (Zillah,WA.), sons: Leonard, William & Steve Cordero (Seattle, WA.), nephews raised by Jessie & Phillip: Mitchell & Manuel Trujillo (Toppenish, WA.), siblings: Jody Valdez (Federal Way, WA.), Ruth Aguirre (Sunnyside, WA.), William Trujillo (Dallesport, WA.). Grandchildren: William Althoff (Toppenish, WA.), Eric Althoff (Zillah, WA.), Daniel Cordero (Seattle, WA.), McKencie Cordero (Seattle, WA.), Angela Cordero (Austin, TX.), David Cordero (Seattle, WA.), James Cordero (Seattle, WA.) and one great-grandchild: Lucy Cordero-Steward of Austin, TX. Jessie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Phillip Cordero & by her siblings: Mitchell Trujillo (Worland, WY.), Mary T.Macias (Toppenish,WA.), Jesus(Mingo) Trujillo (Wapato, WA.), Joseph Trujillo (Worland, WY.), Alice Diaz (Warden, WA.), Manuel (chapo) Trujillo (Toppenish, WA.), George Trujillo (Worland, WY.), Frank Trujillo (Seattle, WA.) and Rita Trujillo (Warden, WA.)
