Jesse Jimenez

November 11, 1933 — October 13, 2018

Jesse T. Jimenez Jesse, Old Man Jesse, dad, grandpa we all had our own special name for him. These last few years Jesse suffered medical issues which he couldn’t shake off. He knew his time was getting close and his final request was to be with the family he so dearly loved. Jesse Jimenez was born November 11, 1933 in Texas. At the early age of 15 he moved out from his older sister’s care and began his journey as a farm laborer from town to town, state to state. Over some 30 years ago he made his last stop at the Five Star Orchards in Parker, WA where he was provided a house to live in. he retired with the Five Star Orchards and continued to remain in the house until his last hospital visit. He was a strong minded person and wasn’t one to give up. In the late 50’s he met his first wife, Mary Selam, an enrolled Yakama member. They were together for 20 some years. His second love of his life was Barbara Foster, a Canadian Native. They were together for 15 years before she preceded him to her journey in heaven. Jesse never had his own biological children, but his heart was so full of love, that he had more children and grandchildren than you could count. Jesse will forever be imprinted in all those he touched with his laughter, kindness and love. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 3-6pm at Kathy’s house (261 Main St., Parker, WA).
