Jess Mcdonald

Jess E. McDonald, 76, of Zillah died Wednesday, May 1 2013, at Cottage in the Meadow. Mr. McDonald was born in Jonesboro, Ark. May 25, 1936 to Jess and Teresa McDonald, and served in the Army from 1956-1958 as a Specialist Third Class. He worked in construction from 1960 until 1991, when he became a crane operator in the Lower Valley until 2011. Survivors include his wife, Norma McDonald of Zillah; two sons, Jess McDonald III of Spokane, and Jesse McDonald IV of Ellensburg; three daughters, Jill McDonald of Corpus Christi, Texas, Claudia Alejandra McDonald of Michigan and Jessica McDonald of Zillah; and three sisters, Thama Northrup of Tacoma, Alice Rhea of Nevada and Elaine Stevens of Florida. Graveside services, with military honors, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2013 in the Zillah Cemetery. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home, Zillah.
