Jennifer “Jen” Marie George-Fiander was born on December 30, 1977, and passed
away February 12, 2026. She was brought into this world by her late father Macy Greg
George and her mother Barbara “Bo” Jo Haggerty. Jennifer was raised and educated in
White Swan, WA, where she attended Fort Simcoe Job Corps. During that time, she
built friendships that became lifelong bonds; friends she often referred to as family.
Jennifer created her family early on in life, having five strong, beautiful children including
Andrew, Waptasyi, and Robert Libby, and Leilah and Ava Fiander. Jen’s love for her
children was unconditional – her children meant the world to her.
She was known for her strong will, big heart, and playful spirit. She always made
everyone laugh with her dark humor and loved scaring people, especially her mom. No
matter where she was or what she was going through, she always was available to
listen and comfort her family and friends – making people feel loved and supported.
She now reunites with her maternal grandparents Florence Pimms Haggerty and Jack
Haggerty Sr., and her paternal grandparents Marthella and Moses George. She also
joins her biological father, Macy George; and Rodney Martin, who helped raise her with
love and care as his own daughter. She will also be reunited with the love of her life, her
husband David Lee Fiander
Jennifer will be remembered for her strength, dark humor, and deep love for her family.
She leaves behind her mother, her children, her siblings Laura Hernandez, Curtis
Martin, and Sarah Curtis, her grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
She will be deeply missed and loved forever.
A private viewing and dressing ceremony will be held on Monday, February 16 th for
