Jeffrey Harris

YAKIMA - Jeffery L. Harris passed away on October 5, 2013 at Regional Hospital. He was born February 24, 1972 in Yakima, Washington. Jeff lived for 30 years at YVS in Selah and was loved by all. Anybody who met him loved him instantly. And he had a lot of love to give!! His second mom Shirley stayed by his side unconditionally for 20 years as well as other staff members. Jeffrey loved music, bright lights and fuzzy blankets. He is survived by his parents David & Barbara Harris, and a brother, Eric Harris. He was preceded in death by his grandma & grandpa Persinger, and Lawrence & Irene Stiles. Viewing will be Thursday, October 10th from 10 AM - 5 PM. Services will be held Friday, October 11th at 10 AM at Valley Hills Funeral Home on Business Lane in Terrace Heights. Graveside service to follow at Terrace Heights Cemetery. A reception will follow to share memories of Jeffery at Mama Shirley’s home, 2012 S. 11th Ave. in Union Gap.
