Jeff Hinchey

Jeff L. Hinchey passed away 07/11/2017 due to a massive stroke. He went to the arms of the Lord at the Cottage in the Meadow at the age of 52 with his parents by his side. He was born in Toppenish on September 6, 1964 to Jim and Geri (Heilman) Hinchey. He was born and raised all his life in Zillah. He graduated in 1983 from Zillah High School. Jeff was a dedicated member of the Zillah Resurrection Catholic Church. He was a loving, caring and helpful individual for his family and others. He loved Renegade Raceway, WW-2 fighter planes, boxing, world history and animals. Classic cars was his number one passion. In his early years he worked 17 years at Tree Top, followed by owning his Classic Chevy car part business and farming. He was preceded in death by (nephew) Nicholas; (infant niece) Victoria; and grandparents. He is survived by his parents, Jim and Geri (Heilman) Hinchey; brother Greg (Laurie) Hinchey; nephew Brandon; niece Brittany; great-nephew Jayden and great-niece Luella all from Zillah. He was loved by many who will miss him tremendously. Jeff, you will always be in our hearts. The family would like to thank the Cottage in the Meadow for their love, care and compassion they provided. Graveside service will be at Zillah cemetery on 07/14/2017 at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow at Resurrection Catholic Church in Zillah.
