Jean Thompson

Jean Ann (Bower) (Seefeldt) (Thompson) Jean Ann, 62, of Zillah passed away on Jan. 12th, 2017 in Yakima. Jean was born in Norton, Kansas to Jack and Miladeen Bower on February 5th, 1954. Her family moved to Toppenish where she graduated from high School in 1972. She was a great mom, who worked very hard to provide for her two boys, Jason and Timothy, working a variety of jobs, including owner/operator of Jean’s Video in Zillah(to the delight of all her nieces and nephews). She met a wonderful man, Jay Thompson and they married July 22, 2005. Jay introduced her to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Whom they enjoyed loving and serving together. Jean had a heart full of love, she loved her family and friends, giving herself up for them at every turn. In addition she had a deep love for her dogs, treating them like she did her own children. Her flowers and her visits to the ocean were also very dear to her. The last few months of her life she had to become the one to be taken care of. She had constant care and support and encouragement from her family, especially her husband Jay. She was preceded in death by her father Jack Bower and her brother Bill Brower. Jean is survived by her husband Jay, her children Jason Seefeldt and Timothy(Christine) Seefeldt; and grandchildren Awtumn, Riley and Trevor. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18th, 2017 from 1-6pm at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 10:00 at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah.
