Janet Jongeward

Janet Jongeward, 80, of Yakima died Friday. Mrs. Jongeward was born in Yakima. She taught school in Hawaii for many years. Survivors include her husband, G. Ron Jongeward of Yakima; three daughters, Mary Scheldt of Broomfield, Colo., Dana Acoba of Puyallup and Karen Benson of Spanaway; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A Celebration of life is being planned for a later date. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory, Yakima.
