Jana Price-Alcorn

Jana Hoptowit Stangle (Price), 59, started her final journey July 16, 2017. She was born in Toppenish, Washington to John Clark Stangle and Violet Hoptowit on January 1, 1958. Jana Price went back and forth from the Reservation to Seattle and Marysville, WA. She is an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation. She was loved by many as she was a great mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, niece and aunt to her family. As a child and young adult she had a passion for photography and travel. In her professional life she completed an AA DTA from SSCC. Jana is survived by her family and friends; her loving brothers and sisters: Jill Woodruff, Sherry Schieme; also her children: Steven Burge Jr., Willow Jim, Darreson Howard, Alisa Alcorn, Judith Rojas, Yolanda Alcorn, and Connie Cortez. Jana was preceded in death by many she loved: her parents John Clark Stangle, Violet Hoptowit; her brothers Tracy Stangle and Virgil James; her paternal grandparent Louis Stangle; and her maternal grandparents Virgil Hoptowit and Lucy Whitefoot.
