Mr. James E. (Jamie) Tsoodle passed from this world on September 3, 2022, at his home in Wapato, Washington. James (Jamie) was born in Toppenish, WA. On April 10, 1967, to Anita (Pimms) and Alva Dee Tsoodle. He attended White Swan schools, graduating in 1985 from White Swan High School. He attended Haskell Indian Junior College and Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute. James was an avid sports fan having participated in baseball, football, and basketball during his school years. Later he enjoyed and was active in the local bowling leagues. His favorite professional team was the New York JETS, and his favorite college team was the Oklahoma Sooners. As the co-owner of the Solid T Construction Company, he met and worked with many community members in the Yakima Valley. The Solid T Construction Companies work is highly regarded. His preceding position was working for several years with the Yakama Nation Housing Authority. James is preceded in death by grandparents Alameda (Wheeler) and Raymond Pimms, and Dora and James Henry Tsoodle. James is survived by his parents Anita (Tom) Swan of White Swan, and Alva Dee (Wilma) Tsoodle of Apache, Oklahoma, daughter Almarae Tsoodle, sisters Alameda Tsoodle (William Dittentholer), Sarah Patterson, Lynn Swan, Sally Tsoodle, Clarissa (Justin) Myron and brother Thomas Swan, Tommy Pewo, nieces Summer Jade Dittentholer, Miriam Patterson, nephews William Hunter Dittentholer, Kaiden Swan, and Michael Patterson, and special brothers Leroy Whitekiller, John, Kerry, Leland and Myron Shock.
