James Todd

James Eugene Todd passed from this life to his eternal life on November 4th 2014 in Yakima. James was born in Sulphur Springs, AR on March 24th 1947. James and his family moved to Yakima when he was a child where he later met and married the love of his life Katherine, on March 3, 1973. Together they raised three children; Jesse, Lisa and James Todd. James was a devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather. His love for Christ manifested in his life. James worked as a Ranch Foreman before his retirement. He was a minister and teacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, serving as the adult Sunday school teacher and minister at Full Gospel Church on Englewood, until he retired due to illness. James loved to share the Gospel with anyone. He is survived by his wife Katherine Todd, his children, Jesse (Denise) Todd, Lisa Todd (Andrew), James (Cassandra) Todd; His twelve grandchildren, Shannon, Deven, Anthony, Josselynn, Jetta, Angel, Hanna, Emma Rose, Kayden, Chris, Landyn and Paul, all of Yakima. He is also survived by his Father Jasper Todd of Oregon, his brothers Richard Todd and Doug Todd and one sister Cheryl Lewis and many numerous nieces and nephews all very dear to him. Viewing will be at Valley Hills Funeral home on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 3-7 p.m. Memorial services will be on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Full Gospel Church, 1602 Englewood Avenue. Interment will be at West Hill Memorial Park following the services. Family and friends may return to the Church for potluck after interment services are concluded.
