James Alan Cloinger Born 16 July 1985, passed away on 8 June 2024 at the age of 38 in Yakima, Washington. James was adopted into his forever home when he was 7 years old. He is survived by his parents James & Donna Cloinger (Leslie, Arkansas), siblings Neathel Cloinger (Cottage Grove, Oregon), Jesse Cloinger (Happy Valley, Oregon), Jacob Cloinger (Warrenton, Oregon), Pedro & Cheyenne Wright (White Salmon, Washington), Celia Cloinger (Mount Hood Parkdale, Oregon) and foster sister Judy Cox (Mousie, Kentucky). Preceded in death by foster sister Lisa Kelley, Grandmother Ruby Schwartz, Grandmother Irene Newman, Grandmother Illa Roshone, biological Grandmother Nanny (Nancy Mottot), and Great Grandmother Mimi (Jeanette Vandyne). James was a proud 2005 graduate of Columbia High School in White Salmon, Washington. James was a cheese head who loved watching the Green Bay Packers. He also loved the Oregon Beaver and joking with his family members who were Oregon Duck fans. He was excited to meet one of the Green Bay Packer players at Disney World while on his graduation trip. He loved working with kids in AWANA’s and the youth group at Grace Baptist Church in White Salmon, Washington. It was the highlight of his night. He found comfort in listening to Christian music, especially Michael W. Smith. He was always willing to help with anything and did better when it was one-on-one. A celebration of life will be held on 13 July 2024 at 1:00pm at Grace Baptist Church, White Salmon, Washington.
