Jakob Long passed away April 8th, 2024 in Yakima Washington. He was born February 12th 2001 to June Quill and his late father Deejay Long. Jakob was 23 years old when he died. He was an enrolled Tribal member of the Navajo Nation.
Jakob attended school in New Mexico, Oregon and Washington State. In middle school and High School he was a band member, he played the violin and the drums. Jakob also attended school at Oregon Job Corps center to be a welder.
Jakob enjoyed going to church with his family. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends. Jakob was a supporter of the Rod's House Ministry in Yakima Washington.
Jakobs favorite color is red, he liked listening to rap, rock and roll, and metal music. He lved eating burgers and fries.
He will be missed by his family, June Quill, siblings Jacqualine Sargent, Jayanna Long, Judith Long, Jessica Quill, and Justin Quill. His grandparents Marjorie and Benny Long.
A funeral service will be on May 4th, 2024 in Prowitt New Mexico, He will be buried in Ambrosia New Mexico next to his dad. Jakob was baptized into the christian faith at 14 years old.
Jakob is preceded in death by grandparents, Garon and Kathleen Quill, Dad, Deejay Long, Aynt, Valine Chapo, and Uncle, Darryl Doublerunner.
