Our beloved son, Jacob Larenz Brown, passed away and went on to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jacob will be missed dearly by all who knew him, especially by us who knew and watched him walk with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In our spiritual family that is the only way we knew him to be. Jacob wrote rap songs about Jesus, Jacob memorized Psalms 23 and Psalms 91, Jacob went to church camp and witnessed youth receive the special gift of speaking in tongues and he desired that for his life, Jacob‘s favorite song was “god of the hills and valleys” which he sang often in our home when he was with our family. Jacob wrote many letters to our family expressing his love for us and his desire to surrender his life to the Lord Jesus Christ.
There will be a viewing on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 12pm to 2pm at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah. Funeral services will be conducted on the following Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the same place, followed by a celebration of life ceremony. The celebration of life ceremony will take place from 1 to 3 PM at Hope for the Nations Four Church in Toppenish behind the Toppenish Public Library.
Jacob was a Christian and all services will be conducted in a Christian way. The Bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with our Lord Jesus. We believe and there is no doubt that Jacob is with Jesus right now in a better place. We choose to celebrate his life for who he was with Jesus and who he is in Jesus right now. Not to take away, or the demean other believes in Native American country, but all services will be done in the Christian way, please respect our Christian beliefs. Jacob often expressed happiness to be part of a family that surrendered their hearts to Jesus Christ.
