Jack Williams, 67, passed away, Monday, August 29th after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sherri, 3 wonderful sons: Dale, John (Katie), Chris (Karyn), 5 amazing grandchildren: Lacie, Matthew, Joseph, Madysen & Baylee. His father Don, 91; 3 sisters: Linda, Lisa, Leslie and honorary sister Sandra and 3 brothers: Mike, Eric and Mark. Jack was born in Ellensburg to Don and Frankie Williams. He played sports. Was in the Jr Olympics. He married young, (Susie Christopherson). He ran his dad's trucking business for over 20 years. Jack was very involved with his children’s lives. Whether it was school, sports or play. Family was everything to him. Jack enjoyed fishing, camping, waterskiing, snowmobiling, working with wood. He turned wine barrels into things of beauty. When his sickness stopped him from being able to do all the things he loved, he still kept his spirits up and worked towards getting better. We think he holds the record for his hip popping out, 31 times! He was a fighter til the end. He never gave up. His passing leaves a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. We know he is at peace and not suffering anymore so that helps ease the sorrow.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, September 30th, at 1:00 pm at Valley Hills Funeral Home, 2600 Business Lane, Yakima, WA.(In Terrace Heights, off Keys Road) Everyone who shared in Jacks life is invited to attend.
