It is with great sadness that the family of Israel Resendez Sr. announces his passing on May 25, 2026, surrounded by his family, at the age of 58. Israel was born on June 27, 1967.

Israel was a devoted husband and loving father. He was a family man through and through and truly enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends. He loved fishing and hunting, and his hobbies included airbrushing and playing guitar. Israel also had three Harleys that he loved taking out for rides.

He was a hardworking man and a jack-of-all-trades, working as a CDL truck driver, farmworker, and more. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Israel is survived by his life partner, Vanessa Gonzales; his sons, Carlos, Issac, Isisah, and Ezikiel Resendez; his daughter, Amanda Sauceda; and numerous grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Uvence Resendez Jr., Samuel Resendez, Daniel Resendez, Yolanda Resendez and her husband David, Felipe Resendez, Joe Resendez, and Edward Resendez.

He was preceded in death by his father, Uvence Resendez Sr.; his mother, Mary Helen Resendez; his sister, Julia Resendez; and his son, Israel Resendez Jr.
