She carried the strength, resilience, and warmth of her roots throughout her life, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who had the blessing of knowing her.Irma dedicated her life to hard work as an agricultural worker, a role she carried with pride and determination. She especially loved cherry season—a time that brought her joy, purpose, and connection to the land she worked so tirelessly on.She was married to the love of her life, Bartolo Montes, with whom she shared a deep and enduring bond.
Together, they built a life centered on love and family. She was a proud and devoted mother to her three children: Judi, Bartolo Jr., and, 15 years later, Pedro-Pablo.Irma’s greatest joy came from her family. She was a loving grandmother to her four granddaughters—Jibely Ariana, Naydin, and Angeles Itati—and her grandson, Angel. Her love extended far beyond, as she was cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends who became like family.
She had a special gift for bringing people together. Irma loved opening her home to others, sharing home-cooked meals, laughter, and moments that turned into lifelong memories. Her kindness, generosity, and welcoming spirit made everyone feel loved and at home.Irma leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and togetherness. Though her passing leaves a deep void, she leaves us with a message—to be happy, to be grateful, and to love one another. She is now reunited with the love of her life, Bartolo, and is at peace. When you think of Irma, remember the beautiful memories she created with you… and smile.
