Howard Hogan

Howard Lee Hogan was born March 27th, 1954, to Clarence and Bev Hogan whom both lived in Yakima. Howard married Karen Pearson in Yakima and with that union became 2 wonderful people. Evan, who is almost to wed his longtime girlfriend McKenna. Kaydee, whom recently wed Cody Roberts from Yakima. Howard also has another son named Cody Blank Hogan, which we believe still lives in Yakima. Howard is preceded in death by both parents and his beloved sister Marleen who passed in early 2000. Howard later married Karon Lee Jensen in 2019. At which time he became a bonus father to Jeremy and wife Sonya, and Jason and wife Caroline. He was a wonderful grandfather to all his grands, Aubra, Kyra, Riley, and Dakota, along with 2 great grands Scout and Bastion. Howard loved his dogs. His big black labs, Sheenah and Niko. They were his big kids. RIP Knowing your boy Nikoi's is cared for and loved. Howard was a helpful stubborn man most of the time. But, if he had it and you needed it or his help with it, he was all over it. Howard's sense of humor was one of his highlighted qualities. He was never far from pointing out something he thought that was funny about himself to make you feel better. He rarely wasn't able to smile or make you smile. Howard liked to build and remodel homes. For years that is what he did for fun in his spare time. He was also a Freightliner diesel technician. He was so very smart and quick with his talents. Howard has made many friends during this nearly 70 years of life. He is definitely a one of a kind and he was very loved. He is and will be deeply missed. Howard passed on Thursday, March 14th at Memorial Hospital. He passed away from a longtime illness that his heart could no longer handle. Don't be sad I am gone; I am so glad we met.
