Howard James Henley left his eternal body on August 28, 2018 winning his battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Howard was born March 15, 1961 in Yakima to the late Howard James and Ruth Lavon Henley.
Howard had strong faith and served the Lord as evident by the people he touched. Howard was always willing to help others and share his knowledge. He loved spending time with family. Coffee with his mom on Sundays, a good laugh, and sharing a warm hug.
Howard is survived by his wife Eileen, son Howard, daughter in law Amanda; grandchildren Tegan and Rhydian; his mother Ruth; siblings Donna (Don), Virginia (Brad), Gail, Roy (Lisa); numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for September 15, 2018 at Living Care Retirement Community in the Meyer Auditorium at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Living Care Resident Fund.
A limb has fallen from the tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says “Grieve not for me”.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song,
The good life lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, now I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls.
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin,
Until the day comes we’re together again…
