Henny Yanez

Enemias "Hanny" Yanez, 61 of Sunnyside, Washington passed away on January 11th, 2024, peacefully in his sleep. He was born in Matador Texas on October 15th, 1962, to Crescencio and Concepcion "Connie" Yanez. He later moved to Sunnyside Washington. Henny, third youngest of nine, attended school in Sunnyside Washington. He later had his own construction business, Yanez Construction. He retired from his business and continued working in construction, currently working for M.C Lundgen. INC. When he was off work you could always catch him hanging out at a home with family and friends, cruising around town or relaxing at home watching his old western shows, Caso Cerrado, and football. He especially enjoyed Easter, hiding the "Special eggs". Henny is survived by his loving mother, Concepcion "Connie" Yanez, his four sisters and three brothers. Janie (Tony) Sanchez, of Sunnyside, Crescencio Yanez Jr. of Seattle, Esmeralda Yanez, of Sunnyside, Connie (Steve) Johnson, of Richland, Florinda (Jose) Barajas, of Grandview, Ezra (Nena) Yanez, of Sunnyside, Moses (Rose) Yanez, of Prosser, 28 nieces and nephews, and numerous great/ great-great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Crescencio Yanez, brother Jesse Yanez, and nephew Yanez Yanez. A viewing will be held at Sunnyside Christian Reformed Church on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 18th, 2024, at 11:00 am at Sunnyside Christian Reformed Church with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens. Services have been entrusted to Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory in Sunnyside, WA.
